Sister Wives' Meri Brown recently kicked off a new chapter in her life with a house-warming party.
In an episode of Sister Wives on Sunday, December 29, Meri talked about moving from Flagstaff, Arizona, to Parowan, Utah.
She celebrated the move with a house-warming party at her bed and breakfast, Lizzie's Heritage Inn.
This comes after the end of her 32-year polyamorous marriage with Kody Brown.
In a confessional-style clip, the 53-year-old can be heard saying, “So it's been a few months now that I have officially lived here in Parowan, so we're having a house-warming party for me. It's awesome to see so many people just want to hang out with me and celebrate this next chapter of my life because that's totally what this is.”
She added, “You know, I think it's interesting that I'm actually here living in the house because when I bought the house, that was not the intention."
“I know Kody felt like that. I think other members of the family did too, that it was my escape plan. That's like, no, whatever. I mean, I think the escape plan was that legal divorce. Let's be real, that was his escape plan,” Meri mentioned.
Moreover, the clip shows Kody’s ex-wife talking to guests and showing them around the house during the party.
Notably, the author of Becoming Sister Wives: The Story of an Unconventional Marriage was married to Kody, who was also married to Christine Brown.
Christine became the first to get out of the plural marriage in November 2021.
Afterward, Kody's other wife, Janelle Brown, also confirmed her separation in December 2022, and now Robyn Brown is now his only remaining wife from the original polygamous marriage.
It is noteworthy to mention that Meri and Kody announced their split in January 2023, and their marriage was annulled through her church.
