SZA teases exciting 'Lana' update for New Years

SZA just announced a New Years treat for her fans.

The award-winning singer revealed that she has “new song” that are due to be released in January 2025, according to her latest tweet on X, formerly Twitter.

In the update, posted on December 30, the Kill Bill hitmaker told her followers that “all updated mixes” as well as “new songs” are expected to “be added Jan 6th when the label comes back from holiday.”

It would also be safe to assume that the said updates would be made to her album, Lana, which is her latest SOS deluxe issue. However, it is unclear if the new song would be having their own separate release.

“Sorry they can’t do it any sooner,” SZA further mentioned, adding, “Just wanted to keep yall in the loop (red heart emoji) Thank yall for your patience (red heart emoji).”

For further context, SZA has also previously mentioned that her album, Lana would be having some changes but it is not clear if the updates have already been made or if they would the ones to be made on January 6.
