Blake Lively is determined to expose Justin Baldoni!
When the promotions for the 202 film, It Ends With Us, began fans were quick to notice a key detail that hinted at their rift with the director.
Lively and her co-stars, Jenny Slate, Brandon Sklenar, as well as author Colleen Hoover, whose 2016 novel of the same title was the one that was adapted into this film, did not follow Baldoni on Instagram.
An insider also spilled that the Gossip Girl alum’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, had blocked the Five Feet Apart star.
While Baldoni remained absent and distant in many events for It Ends With Us and social media users on TikTok and Instagram were buzzing with speculations over a rift between Lively and the actor, an insider to PEOPLE magazine revealed, “There is much more to the story.”
Fast forward from last summer to December 20, 2024 and The Age of Adaline actress filed a bombshell lawsuit against the Jane The Virgin star accusing him of s**ual harassment and then launching a smear campaign against Lively to silence her and prevent her from speaking up.
“I hope that my legal action helps pull back the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak up about misconduct and helps protect others who may be targeted,” Blake Lively told The New York Times.
Meanwhile, Justin Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, deemed the allegations “false, outrageous and intentionally salacious with an intent to publicly hurt” in his statement.
