Kate Middleton and Prince William are planning a complete revamp of the monarchy with their modern approach, it is revealed.

The Prince and Princess of Wales, are tipped to bypass all the men in suits to have a ‘corporate approach.’

Royal expert Jennie Bond says: "The Waleses have stepped outside the Palace walls in more ways than one.”

She adds: "They have appointed a former CEO of Tescos to head up their Royal Foundation and are planning a more corporate approach for their private office. Things have been put on hold while the Princess recovers, but it's clear that the couple intend to by-pass some of the 'grey men' at the Palace, and take much more direct control of their affairs."

This comes as Kate prepares to mark her 43rd birthday next year.

Speaking about her courage, Royal expert Jennie Bond says: ““While some women might find the prospect of turning 43 a bit daunting, Catherine will, I am sure, be delighted that she is able to enjoy her birthday in comparatively good health, though of course she is still recovering. Every day must now be extra precious for the Princess, and every birthday a cause for grateful celebration.”

“I’m sure Catherine’s new perspective on everything will include her own birthday,” Jennie adds.
