Jennifer Lopez's ex Casper Smart in trouble over alleged cannabis operation

Jennifer Lopez's ex Casper Smart got into hot waters after being linked to a cannabis operation.

The dancer's Los Angeles home was reportedly raided on December 203 around 9 a.m. local time after officers received a tip, TMZ reported.

Smart, 37, was found with an unidentified woman when law enforcement arrived with a search warrant.

A “small- to medium-size” grow operation was discovered during the raid.

Smart was not arrested. Instead, he was cited and released at the scene.

However, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office will decide whether to press charges against him, the publication added.

Smart was in an on-again, off-again relationship with Lopez, now 55, from 2011 to 2016 following her split from her ex-husband Marc Anthony.

Earlier in their relationship, the dancer also set the record straight on any speculations of adultery, stating that their relationship was professional for a “very long time” before turning romantic.

“The chemistry was there. You can’t fight it,” he said at the time.

In 2014, insiders confirmed to Page Six that Lopez and Smart had called it quits amid rumours that he was indulging in sexually-explicit conversations with models behind the singer’s back.

Smart eventually reunited with the Grammy winner in 2015 before the exes broke up again in 2016.
