Melissa Benoist reveals how she fell in love with Chris Wood

Melissa Benoist and Chris Wood tied the knot on September 1, 2019. The couple fell for each other while starring on the TV show Supergirl together as love interests.

When they first met, Melissa and Chris were in other relationships. The Longest Ride actress was married to Blake Jenner while the Legacies actor was romantically linked to Hanna Mangan-Lawrence.

As per People magazine, Melissa and Bake divorced in 2017, while Chris and Hanna called it quits in January 2017.

That same year, Melissa and Chris were spotted enjoying a vacation together in Cancun, Mexico.

The two announced their engagement in February 2019 and exchanged vows six months later. The couple welcomed their first child in September 2020.

"My little boy is gonna rock 990s just like his dad, and that makes the world feel a little less sad today," Chris wrote on his Instagram handle after announcing the birth of his child.
