Kate Middleton has discovered a new sense of purpose in her royal duties as she views them as a form of "service" to the people.
This change in the Princess of Wales’ perspective comes after a life-changing year after she was diagnosed of cancer and underwent preventative chemotherapy.
According to a close friend, Kate's outlook on life has shifted dramatically, and she now approaches her charitable work with renewed passion.
“Now she sees her job as ‘service’ to the people in an even greater light,” the friend told Closer.
“Kate does charitable projects with the children, but she tries to keep a low profile,” they said, adding, “so that it’s not about them and more about the people they’re helping.”
This comes after an insider said that Kate now “understands that things like rest” and is focusing on her health and emotional well-being.
They said she has realized the importance of “being at peace, and emotionally letting some things go are a huge part of a healthy lifestyle.”
“She used to stress and have anxiety, which doesn’t help with overall good health.”
