Prince Harry’s rift with his father King Charles and elder brother Prince William has deteriorated recently, a royal expert has claimed.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams has made these claims as Harry maintains a relationship with Princess Diana's siblings in the U.K.

Speaking to the GB News, the royal expert said, “It didn't make a whole deal of sense when they only met for half an hour the first time when he came over immediately," referring to King Charles and Harry's February meeting following the monarch's cancer diagnosis.

Richard Fitzwilliams said, “When the king meets David Beckham and not Harry, it speaks for itself."

He claimed, “There is a big rift in the royal family, and there remains a big rift."

About the duke’s ties with Princess Diana’s family, the royal expert said “Harry is fostering contacts with the Spencers because they supported the Invictus service at St Paul's, and we know that there's contact there and closeness that there doesn't seem to be with the royal family except with Eugenie in [Portugal]."
