Whitney Cummings was on fire when she joined CNN‘s New Year’s Eve Live with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen.

Whitney joked about the Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni legal drama, taunted the hosts and revealed that Sabrina Carpenter auditioned for Roseanne revival in 2018. The comedian served as a showrunner for the revival.

When Cohen asked about Sabrina getting a rejection from the show, the comedian replied: “No one passes on Sabrina Carpenter for anything. She came in and she was not a match for a million reasons.”

She then remarked: “Of course, you’re going to bring up this drama.”

The Espresso hitmaker auditioned for the role of Harris Conner Healy, Roseanne’s granddaughter. However, she was rejected and the role eventually went to Emma Kenney.

But things more than worked out for Carpenter in the music industry, a thing Whitney thinks she deserves some credit for.

The 2 Broke Girls co-creator joked: “I deserve a percentage of her touring money for not hiring her. Otherwise, she would still be on that show. You’re welcome, Sabrina.”

This comes after Whitney Cummings recently got candid about the audition. She told People, “Sabrina Carpenter auditioned … and it wasn’t the right fit. She got a rejection that day when we were casting the daughter. And by the way, thank God we said no to her because she’d be stuck on a sitcom set and not being Sabrina Carpenter.”
