Carrie Underwood wowed audiences with her wardrobe transformations during her performance on Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve with Ryan Seacrest in Times Square on December 31.
The Grammy-winning singer delivered a medley of her hit songs, showcasing three different looks that left fans mesmerized.
According to People, Underwood opened her set with Church Bells, strumming a matching guitar while dressed in a black-and-gold sequined robe adorned with a shimmering fringe.
Moreover, she then transitioned into a feathered hot-pink tinsel jacket paired with a silver pantsuit, which appeared to be complimenting her performance of Pink Champagne, which she sang while perched in an oversized champagne glass, as per the publication.
For her final look, Underwood shed the pink jacket to reveal the full silver sequined pants suit as she delivered a rendition of her 2005 hit Before He Cheats.
As per the outlet, the performance marked a festive end to 2024, while also setting the stage for Underwood’s return to American Idol, as a judge, 20 years after winning the competition.
Furthermore, while speaking with host Ryan Seacrest about the role, Underwood admitted feeling “nervous with both” experiences but expressed excitement about mentoring the next generation of talent.
