Avicii's demise has left behind many regrets.
A close friend to the late and iconic singer, has finally addressed a rather sensitive topic regarding the death of the Levels hitmaker.
His documentary, titled, Avicii -I Am Tim, a reference to his real name, Tim Bergling, depicts “Tim himself” orating the story of his life as “he shares his inner self in a way we haven't heard before.”
As the project sees the singer’s close friends and family discuss the highs of his career, they also recalled the lows of his life. Particularly, pal Jesse Waits, reflected on Avicii’s death, saying, "I don't think anybody really know why or what happened, nobody really knows what was going through his mind, everybody can speculate.”
"He seemed good to everybody I talked to that were around him, he was in a good place. It's hard to accept,” he added.
Waits then proceeded to express much regret over not being able to identify that his friend was in pain, claiming how he wishes that he could’ve helped Avicii.
He said, "I know this is something that is inevitable, but if I was there, I could have fixed it."
"Whatever he was going through, I'd be like, 'F**king shut the f**k up, f**king put your shoes on, and let's go out f**king outside for a walk,’” Waits further mentioned.
"I'm sure everybody feels that they could have changed something, especially his family,” he concluded.
