Post Malone entering the country music genre was no sudden switch.

The Sunflower hitmaker revealed how his love for country music runs deep, despite him being mostly affiliated to the genres of pop, hip-hop and R&B.

During his headlining set, at the Wild Horses Festival, in San Diego, the California Sober singer named the two artists he couldn’t stop listening to in 2024, and both of them were country musicians.

First, Malone addressed the crowd, clarifying that he’s and Apple Music user and doesn’t pay a lot of attention however, he decided to unveil his top two artists, who were, “George Strait and Zach Top.”

After making this announcement, the 29-year-old musician brought on Top to the stage and then proceeded to perform a rendition of the song, Don't Let Our Love Start Slippin' Away by Vince Gill.

Meanwhile, Post Malone’s performances featured his latest country music songs off from his sixth studio album, F-1 Trillion as well as his classic hit tracks like, Circles, I Fall Apart, Rockstar and Sunflower.

His performance comes after he took the stage on December 25, alongside Beyoncé, during her popular Christmas Day halftime show, where the duo performed their collaborative track, LEVII'S JEANS, off her album, Cowboy Carter.
