Lynne Spears different approach with daughter Britney Spears has reportedly worked in her favour.

As per the latest findings of Life & Style, the mother and daughter have been growing close to each other despite their troubling history.

Sharing the reason behind this positive development, a source close to the songbird’s mother and her told the publication that the 69-year-old has done things “differently this past year.”

Reportedly, Lynne had taken “more of a hands-off approach” in the last few months and did not meddle with the songbird’s affairs.

Even though she “wanted to call Britney and fly to her rescue,” she ultimately “waited for her to call” and this change of plan “worked well” for the duo.

“Now Britney feels her mom respects her and isn’t forcing things which she appreciates,” the insider continued.

Before signing off from the chat, the insider added, “Lynne dreams of a day when the whole family could come together but for now she’s focusing on one day at a time and just doing all she can to keep the door open with Britney.”
