Taylor Swift pays for her 'wrong decision'

Taylor Swift recently wore a Cartier watch worth over $32,000 as she attended her friend Ashley Avigone's birthday.

The stylist, designer shared a picture of herself and the Grammy winner embracing in front of a birthday cake.

“Happy birthday to me, emphasis on the *happy*, Avigone wrote. 

Taylor fans were excited to see the singer's picture towards the end of 2024.

But they were offended to see that criticism directed towards her watch in an X post got more than a staggering 5 million views.

"Taylor Swift spotted wearing a $32,200 Diamond Cartier watch. The level of hypocrisy here is remarkable! ," the picture of Taylor Swift and Ashley Avigone was captioned by the user.

"What is the hypocrisy? She's rich and can afford nice things" was the reply most of her fans came up with to defend the singer.

But what offended them most was the reach the X post got on the platform.

Her fans are wondering whether some X accounts are given wider reach by Elon Musk when they target certain celebrities and political figures. 

The Tesla chief was not happy when Taylor Swift supported Kamala Harris in US presidential election.

When she publicly voiced support for Harris, Musk responded to her in an X post and wrote, "Fine Taylor… you win… I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life."

They are also wondering whether she is paying the price for choosing the "wrong side" in the US election which Donald Trump won in November.
