Ariana Grande looks back at 'Wicked' year

Ariana Grande has a stellar year as she unwraps the 2024 on Instagram, showing the moments she experienced, including bagging her dream role in Wicked.

In the carousel of photos, the Side to Side singer shared on Instagram a video singing When You Believe with co-star Cynthia Erivo and a snap of the Grammy winner from the musical fantasy film set.

"A year full of art and heart!" she captioned. "thank you eternally for your love and support, words truly don’t suffice. i love you always and am wishing you all a very happy new year!."

As a teen, Glinda was the dream role of Ariana. For this, she recently told People that she collected the pieces of her character-themed wardrobe.

She "had a little portion of my closet that was all just little pink tops and stuff, just in case she got her dream role as Glinda."

"I was like, 'What underwear would Glinda wear today?'" the 31-year-old quipped.

Apart from the wardrobe, Ariana recalled the efforts to pitch herself to the Wicked makers for the Glinda role.

"I had been chasing [producer] Marc Platt down for about 10 years, wondering when this movie was going to happen when I would have the opportunity to audition," she added.

"As soon as I heard that maybe in a few months they might start seeing people, I was like, 'Great! Now's the time I'm starting,'" The Boy is Mine hitmaker concluded
