For the unversed, when the Grammy nominations for 2025 were announced, Eminem scored nods in the categories of best rap album, best rap performance and best music video, for his latest album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce).
While Kendrick Lamar has a total of seven nods that include categories record of the year, song of the year, producer of the year, best rap song, best rap performance and best music video.
After the nominations were unveiled, the Money Trees rapper surprised his fan base with an unannounced album titled, GNX.
Apart from their separate musical endeavours, the duo has also performed together at the Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show in 2022, and even released a collaborative song, Love Game, off Eminem's 2013 album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2.
