Justin Baldoni claims Ryan Reynolds got ‘aggressive' over Blake Lively ‘fat shaming'

Justin Baldoni has accused Ryan Reynolds of ‘berating’ him over Blake Lively.

The actor and director, who has sued The New York Times for headlining a smear article against him, claims in the libel that Reynolds spoke to him aggressively after he feared wife Lively was being ‘fat shamed’ on the sets of ‘It Ends With Us.’

Baldoni explains in the suit that he has asked Blake about her weight in order “to ensure he could safely perform the lift without injury,” due to his back surgery.

“The confrontation that followed was so aggressive that Baldoni felt compelled to offer repeated apologies,” the suit read. “Baldoni, in an effort to avoid further confrontation with Lively and Reynolds and rebuild rapport with his co-star, continued to bend to her will.”

Baldoni explains that Lively “refused to perform the lift scene” despite already having “rehearsed with a stunt double.”
