Meghan Markle expresses desire for freedom with controversial move

Meghan Markle appeared to have shared her desire for freedom as she marked her social media return with “controversial” video.

The Duchess of Sussex broken her social media silence with a surprise Instagram post, sparking a frenzy among her fans.

In the video, Meghan could be seen running towards the sea, writing "2025" in the sand, and then running back towards the camera with a smile.

According to body language expert Judi James, the post signalled at Meghan's desire for freedom and new horizons as she compared the post with her Prince Harry's previous views on social media.

James told Fabulous that Meghan's ''catch me if you can behaviour'' is ''all about signalling freedom and maybe even new horizons, with that pulsating sea stretching out into the background.’”

It ''suggests Meghan pre-marriage, maybe in the early days of her romance with Harry when she might have seen herself as a free spirit, uncrushed on the wheel of royalty,” the expert added. 

She continued: ''With Meghan and Harry's opinions on social media this looks like a controversial choice of re-brand, with this rather 'open' appeal to the camera, i.e. all casually dressed in white with the wind rippling through her hair.

''It seems to re-kindle a more personal relationship with the public although presumably one that Meghan now feels is controllable.

''But it presumably suggests some more direct marketing for the brand that looks more like 'meet Meghan' than 'meet a royal power-couple.’''

''New year, new start, with Meghan seeming to want some direct and more celebrity-style communication here.''
