'Catwoman' Jocelyn Wildenstein breathes her last at 84

Jocelyn Wildenstein, who is known as a catwoman, passed away while sleeping in her suite in Paris, on December 31, 2024.

Lloyd Klein was famous for her extreme and extensive plastic surgeries which created her facial appearance as a cat.

"Her partner Lloyd Klein is pained to announce the death of Jocelyne Wildenstein in Paris,” as per the first statement after her death was released by her partner Lloyd Klein to AFP.

"Early reports from the doctors called to the scene indicate that she had endured heart failure and passed peacefully in her sleep," the fashion designer added.

Following her death, Klein, who has been dating Wildenstein for more than two decades, told People, "We had a nice happy hour the same night and we were getting ready for the new year.”

“And we took a little nap just to look good before getting dressed, because of her phlebitis, the legs were very, very swollen, and the blood was blocked, and there was no oxygen in the brain."

Recalling the last moments with his ladylove, continued, "And we were having a nap and when I wake up, I said, 'Jocelyn, we have to wake up, we have to get dressed,' and she was cold and she was dead."

Before concluding, Klein shared his sorrow by saying, "It's extremely sad to lay down with your other half that I know for 21 years and waiting to celebrate New Year's Eve and to find her cold.”

For those unversed, Swiss socialite, Wildenstein, tied the knot with billionaire businessman, Alec Nathan, in 1978, and share two children a daughter Diane Wildenstein, and a son Alec. The ex-couple parted ways in 1999.
