Prince William takes cautious approach to Kate Middleton upcoming birthday

Kate Middleton will mark her 43rd birthday in January, which has Prince William worried as he is planning everything with utmost care, an expert has revealed.

According to royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams the Prince and Princess of Wales are "being very careful" about how to mark the occasion after having gone through a “difficult year.”

He told GB News that Kate’s birthday plans are still under wraps, with no official announcements made on how the couple would celebrate the day.

Fitzwilliams suggested that the couple will plan "step-by-step" as they navigate the New Year, considering Kate's ongoing recovery from preventative chemotherapy treatment.

“If you look at Kensington Palace and the way they handled this. They've been very careful,” the expert said. “We have absolutely no idea the way she will celebrate her birthday.”

“There have been meetings we know she’s participated in, but they've been very very careful firstly not to give to much notice of this, and secondly not to commit themselves to anything.

“We know that the Waleses were due to go to Italy, anything like that must be planned months in advance and you can’t when she still has a long way to go."
