Jennifer Lopez has recently got candid about having “challenging relationships” amid her divorce from estranged husband Ben Affleck.
The 55-year-old actress made her remarks in an interview with Variety where she drew similarities between herself and the character as Judy Robles in Unstoppable movie.
Lopez, who plays the role of mother of a one-legged wrestler, Anthony Robles in the movie, said, "We were kindred spirits.”
The ex-wife of Affleck went on to say, “We both grew up Latina in this country. We both had children and have hopes and dreams for them.”
The mother of 16-year-old twins Max and Emme reflected, they both (real and real Lopez) had challenging relationships, which left them holding our “families together”.
The singer-actress also shared her opinion on womanhood, saying that women "have to be" strong from the moment they "are born".
While explaining it further, Lopez added, "Women are strong. We have to be.”
“From the minute women are born,” the actress noted, adding, “We’re always having to prove ourselves, to show we’re good enough.”
According Jennifer Lopez, it creates a type of strength and then a lot of women give birth and there’s nothing that makes one stronger than doing that.
