Before Dec 20, WME, represented Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds and Justin Baldoni.
But the talent agency dropped the lead star of the romance drama after the It Ends With Us actress bombshell allegations against him.
The actor, who was also the director of the film based on Colleen Hoover in 2016, accused the agency of cutting ties with him under the pressure of the Deadpool star.
“The wielding of power and influence became undeniable,” the 40-year-old lawsuit noted.
“Baldoni and Wayfarer grew increasingly fearful of what Lively and Reynolds were capable of, as their actions seemed aimed at destroying Baldoni’s career and personal life.”
Now, WME in response told The Wrap, “In Baldoni’s filing there is a claim that Reynolds pressured Baldoni’s agent at the ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ premiere. This is not true."
“Baldoni’s former representative was not at the ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ premiere nor was there any pressure from Reynolds or Lively at any time to drop Baldoni as a client,” it added.
The allegation against WME is part of a lawsuit Justin filed against The New York Times for covering a story titled We Can Bury Anyone’: Inside a Hollywood Smear Machine.
