Veteran Hollywood star John Capodice passed away on Monday, December 30, as announced by the New Jersey Pizzi Funeral Home. His long list of jobs include hits such as 'Ryan’s Hope', 'General Hospital' and 'Ace Venture'.
The funeral home broke the news of his death on their website, although the cause was not listed. The star was described as “a devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be missed by all who had the pleasure to meet him.”
Alongside his work on television, Capodice served in Korea for the U.S army from 1964 to 1966 before he decided to take up acting. He started off by portraying the character of Lloyd Lord in six episodes of the soap opera ‘Ryan’s Hope’. He also boasted a long list of guest appearances on shows such as ‘Murder She Wrote’, ‘Seinfeld’, ‘Law & Order’ ‘Spenser: For Hire’ and more.
His list of films included titles like ‘Family Business’, ‘Independence Day’, ‘Q’, and ‘Enemy of the State’. He also made a name for himself through his voice acting, voicing the character of Sidney Pen in the game ‘Mafia II’.
Capodice is succeeded by four grandchildren, two children and his wife, Jane.
