Netflix has started building momentum for the third and concluding season of their mega-hit series Squid Game, directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk. 

This time around they came out with a brand new teaser paired with a poster on their social media accounts, captioning it: “Everyone say hi to Chul Su. Season 3 coming in 2025.”

The poster reveals the recurring figure of the doll Young Hee which utilizes motion detection technology in the infamous “Red light, Green light” game. She is joined by Chul Su as the two stare ahead at the viewer.

Joining the release of the poster is the teaser clip, which was previously revealed as a post-credit scene for season two.

Squid Game focuses on a life or death survival game where the winner takes home the hefty amount of approximately $34.5 million. The second season follows the main lead Seong Gi Hun, played by veteran star Lee Jung Jae, as he seeks to avenge the deceased characters from season one by bringing the games to an end.

The second season was released on December 26 to a recorded 68 million views in its first week. It went on to top the charts in 93 countries and stole the number one rank on the Global Top 10 on Netflix.
