Stormzy just suffered the consequences of breaking rules!

The 31-year-old British rapper, whose real name is named Michael Ebenazer Owuo Junior, is banned from driving for nine months after an undercover police office caught him operating a Rolls-Royce while using his mobile.

He has admitted to driving a Rolls-Royce Wraith while on his phone at Addison Road, west Kensington where the police officer tapped his “tinted” passenger window and asked the rapper to “get rid of your tints and get off your phone”, as per the hearing at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court.

Andrew Sweet, the district judge, banned the rapper, from driving any vehicle for nine months and fined him £2,010 after six more points were added to his licence deeming the artist’s actions as “dangerous and irresponsible.”

Before this fresh update, Stormzy had six points on his licence for a previous speeding offence and has also admitted that he drove a Lamborghini Urus that had its front windows illegally tinted to only 4 per cent light transmission, which was a violation of the 70 percent requirement.

As per prosecutor, Alice Holloway, driving that vehicle was not only dangerous but also put “vulnerable road users at risk.”
