Oprah Winfrey likely to invite Meghan Markle to her podcast

American TV legend Oprah Winfrey was the first high profile celebrity who liked Meghan Markle's first Instagram post as the Duchess of Sussex caused frenzy with her return to the platform. 

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had made headlines when they were interviewed by Oprah for the first time after they had stepped down from their royal duties and left the UK.

The interview had taken place a few days before the death of Prince Harry's grandfather, Prince Philip.

The conversation during the interview further strained the estranged couple's relations with the British royal family.

Since their first interview, Harry and Meghan have enjoyed a good relationship with Oprah Winfrey. 

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have also been spotted visiting Winfrey at her home in California on a couple of occasions.

Given the nature of their relations, it's expected that Oprah Winfrey would invite Meghan Markle to her podcast to discuss the Duchess' future plans.  

Hosted by Oprah Winfrey, the podcast features weekly conversations with "thought leaders, cultural icons, and authors from Oprah's Book Club"

The first episode featured a conversation with Claire Keegan, author of Small Things Like These, which was selected for Oprah's Book Club

The podcast explores timely themes such as happiness, resilience, consciousness, and connection.
