Jamie Lee Curtis recently revealed how Pamela Anderson reminded her of her famous mother, Janet Leigh.

Speaking to People magazine, both actresses talked about their upcoming movie The Last Showgirl and friendship.

Talking about the Baywatch actress, Curtis said, “There was a picture of her in a bathing suit that I remember very clearly. How could you not? Pamela is classically beautiful; my mother was classically beautiful. I have always thought I was cute at best, and felt as a child that way. And so in a way, Pamela reminds me of my mother.”

She went on to speak highly of her mother, articulating, “There was an innocence about my mother and incredible beauty. I wrote a piece about her once [called] ‘Bye Bye, Beauty.’ And I think the opening line of that article was, ‘My mother was the most beautiful woman I've ever seen in my life.’”

“That is what I took from Pamela: this incredible beauty and just openness, just really very moving to me,” Curtis concluded.

Moving forward, the Academy Award-winning actress shed light on being the real “Nepo Baby” because of her famous parents, adding, "I have been a professional actress since I was 19 years old, so that makes me an OG Nepo Baby."

For the unversed, the 66-year-old Hollywood actress is the daughter of Leigh and Tony Curtis, the actor of The Boston Strangler.

Notably, the couple tied the knot in 1951 and called it quits in 1962.

It is pertinent to mention that The Last Showgirl is being shown in selected theatres now ahead of its release across the cinemas in the United States on January 8, 2025.
