Meghan Markle has seemingly made a ‘blunder’ on her new Instagram handle.
The Duchess of Sussex, who has debuted a personal account on the social media platform, has removed ‘The’ from her title in the description.
Meghan thus goes by ‘Duchess of Sussex’ instead of The Duchess of Sussex, in the title.
Pointing out the error, fans note on ‘X’, formerly known as Twitter: "Hopefully we will see another update, as she left out the 'The' in her title. No 'The' before Duchess of Sussex means she is a divorcee."
Another wrote: "Meghan, Duchess of Sussex is the divorced style."
This comes as Prince Andrew's former wife writes her name as 'Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York'. The 65-year-old has removed 'The' in her title since their divorce in 1996.
