Meghan Markle Instagram return sparks outrage among Royal critics

Meghan Markle made a social media return with a playful Instagram video to celebrate the start of the new year, however, her comeback has not sat well with Royal critics.

Following her debut post, royal expert Charles Rae slammed the Duchess of Sussex’s surprise return, calling her debut post "ridiculous."

Speaking with GB News, he suggested that Meghan’s comeback may be a step towards reviving her lifestyle blog, The Tig.

The expert also questioned Markle's decision to disable comments on the post, implying she wants to avoid criticism.

"This post is ridiculous. She's had this this dormant Instagram account for two or three years, and there's been hints before that it was going to come out, and do something sensational,” Rae said.

"If this is the sensational bit, then I'm not going to be losing any sleep checking Instagram,” he added.

Questioning Meghan’s motive behind disabling comments on her post, he added, "It's interesting though that she's actually switched off all the comments on this one - clearly she doesn't want to have anybody on there saying anything nasty or anything good about it.”

"I think it's possible that that's what she wants to do. How on earth did she get Meghan handle? It's a mystery.

“Whoever the original Meghan was would be daft not to have seen a payday coming, and best of luck to them."
