Meghan Markle shows she doesn't need Prince Harry to remain in spotlight

Meghan Markle has showed that she can shine without her husband Prince Harry with her latest venture and social media debut, an expert has claimed.

After the Duchess of Sussex dropped the trailer for her Netflix cooking show after making Instagram debut, royal expert Hugo Vickers said Meghan is trying to focus on what she does best.

He told The Sun that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are working together to focus on their individual strengths, noting that Meghan is good at being in the spotlight and doesn't need Harry by her side to stay famous.

“The strategy seems to be at the moment that she does the things that she's good at, and he does the things that he's good at, and very often these are done separately,” he said.

The expert suggested that while Harry is still involved in events similar to those he attended as a royal, Meghan is more comfortable at glamorous events like movie premieres.

“I guess she probably doesn’t really need him” in that sense to remain in the public eye, he added.

The expert was then asked if he thought Meghan looked happy without Harry in the video, to which he said she “looked perfectly happy.”

Harry and Meghan “can't be entirely happy,” he noted, “They know how much people criticise them, and they mind about that.”

“They read everything available that's written about them, and they monitor everything.”
