Morgan Wallen “has been struggling” since his chair throwing incident earlier in 2024.

Wallen was charged with felony for throwing a chair off a sixth-floor bar rooftop. He was then sentenced to one week of incarceration on December 12. The week will be served at a DUI education center.

The Whiskey Glasses hitmaker has also been given two years’ probation.

Following the incident, which made headlines, the singer has been laying low and avoiding major events, per a tipster.

“After wrapping his tour, he decided to take time for himself and just be with his son. Morgan kind of disappeared,” the source told Life & Style.

“He was supposed to attend some events in those months, most notably the CMA Awards, which named him Artist of the Year. But he decided to lay low. The court case has been a big wake-up call for him,” they added.

The Last Night hitmaker has previously been charged with misdemeanor after being arrested for public intoxication.

Recently, Morgan Wallen got some good news when his request to hang a sign over his bar was approved. The same request was denied seven months earlier by the Metro Council.
