Cynthia Erivo just admitted she would fight the world for Ariana Grande.
Explaining how she would “raise h**l” if her Wicked co-star does not get nominated for an Oscar after her portrayal of Glinda, on-screen.
Both the movie stars, Erivo as well as Grande have received Oscar buzz after their rather successful movie dropped, where the former has mentioned that she is quite eager to see the 7 Rings crooner score a nod in the category of Best Supporting Actress.
"I will raise h**l if this lady does not get her nomination. It's a really f**king hard job to jump into the middle of something like this and have it be your first time," Erivo told Variety.
The Harriet star continued, "Lucille Ball: She's the return of that. And it made her heart happy to do this, which makes me happy."
Ariana Grande expressed her gratitude to Erivo for her “very kind” words, noting that was “honoured” to support The Outsider actress "otherworldly" performance in their movie too.
She spoke of how Cynthia Erivo "deserve(s) her flowers" and how she "can't wait" to be by her side when she wins the Best Actress Oscar and achieves the EGOT status, having previously won an Emmy, Grammy and Tony Award.
