Jason Kelce teases new details about his new late night show

Jason Kelce is venturing into late night comedy shows.

The former NFL player-turned-podcast host-turned-singer, 37, is now set to film a late night show in front of a live audience.

"We have a bunch of really funny writers who are going to make the show funny because I certainly can't," Jason told People Magazine.

They Call It Late Night with Jason Kelce, produced by NFL Films and ESPN, promises "a bunch of really great guests lined up" to appear on the show.

"We're going to be utilizing great footage and soundbites from the past and history of the game as well as current weeks, we're going to be having panelists on that'll be able to give perspective from either former players and coaches to fans, to other high-level athletes," the former Philadelphia Eagles center told the publication.

Jason added he wanted the show to feel authentic to the kind of content he wants to consume now that he's retired from football.

"I was just talking about it with Kylie, like, 'What can I do that's something that I want to do and is fun?' and I think when you're talking to most guys, the thing almost everybody says they miss the most is being around the guys, being around the players and shooting the crap with the boys."

Jason wants his new venture to be "a place where we're going to be able to come once a week...have some fun and talk about a sport that we all love and a culture that is near and dear to us."

"So I think I'm really, really looking forward to it."

They Call It Late Night will air on Saturdays at 1 a.m. on ESPN.
