Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are reportedly planning to skip this year’s Golden Globes award as she filed two legal cases against It Ends With Us costar Justin Baldoni.

Now, according to Deadline, their decision was made before the legal drama surrounding the film started, in which Lively sued Baldoni, her costar and the movie’s director.

Moreover, the couple's decision of not attending the Golden Globes, scheduled to be held on Sunday, January 5, is despite Reynold’s Deadpool & Wolverine being nominated for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement.

The movie besides the 48-year-old actor, also had a cameo of his 37-year-old wife; and their three children also appeared for a brief time in the R-rated movie.

For the unversed, on December 20, Lively accused Baldoni of sexually harassing her, waging a smear campaign against her and creating a toxic work environment during filming of It Ends With US.

Then on December 31, the wife of Reynolds then filed another lawsuit against her costar, who also directed the movie, for emotional distress, and humiliation.

The same day, Baldoni sued The New York Times for $250 million in damages for defamation.
