Brad Pitt ‘relieved' after official divorce with Angelina Jolie

Brad Pitt is reportedly relieved after his divorce with ex-wife Angelina Jolie got officially finalised, marking an end to an eight-year of legal battle.

A source while discussing the post-divorce matter, told DailyMail.com that that the 61-year-old actor went through “the ringer” in his eight-year divorce battle with the Maria actress.

The source dished out that the Bullet Train actor is “relieved that this weight is finally lifted from him”.

“He (Pitt) is no longer bound in any way to his marriage with Angelina,” the insider said, adding, “She (Jolie) has really put him through the ringer and he is just glad this portion is done”.

The A-list stars, who were once called "Brangelina" by their fans, met while filming Mr. and Mrs. Smith in 2004 and soon they start dating. 

The former couple, who after years of staying in a relationship, tied the knot in 2014, and filed for divorce two years later.

Besides their divorce, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who share six children, are still fighting over Chateau Miraval, the French chateau and vineyard they once jointly owned.
