Hyderabad: Cop among two gunned down outside central jail

HYDERABAD: A couple of unidentified shooters gunned down two people including a policeman here on Sunday, Geo News reported.

According to police, two bikers, with the one on the pillion wielding an AK-47, fired a quick burst at a police vehicle parked outside Hyderabad central jail killing a cop and a passerby right on the spot before fleeing away.

The biker gunmen, who were wearing helmets to mask their faces, made a clean gateway leaving no trace behind except for two dead men, spent shell casings of Kalashnikov rounds, and a terrorized neighborhood.

Police have launched an investigation.
