Robbie Williams recently shared his excitement about showing off his new look debut at the Golden Globes after earning a nomination for Best Original Song for his biopic Better Man.

The 50-year-old crooner of the Let Me Entertain You singer revealed that he got new teeth after getting rid of his old "yellow nubs" for the ceremony.

Robbie, who usually does not attend award shows, articulated his feelings, saying he feels “very fortunate” and “lucky” because of the nomination, according to The Sun.

He said, “I am as excited as anybody else at meeting famous people. Honestly, on the evening, there'll be an 11-year-old inside me going, 'Oh, guess what? Look who is over there!'”

The Rule the World hitmaker added, “Yeah. I'll be super-excited. It's very exciting. I feel like a brand new artist experiencing new experiences in a brand new time at the end table. It's fabulous.”

“It is always nice being invited to the party, even though normally I don't go. But I really wanted to come. I feel very fortunate to be nominated and very lucky to be invited here,” Robbie added.

Notably, this came after the Candy singer’s hopes of securing his first Academy Award were ruined when his latest song was ruled ineligible for a nomination.

The song Forbidden Road was shortlisted for Best Original Song in December 2024, which is from his forthcoming biopic Better Man.

However, as per Variety, later the officials of Oscar disqualified the song because of its similarity with another song from 1973.
