Meghan Markle's 'cruel' decision to keep her father from Archie, Lilibet sparks outrage

A royal expert has criticized Meghan Markle for allegedly refusing to allow her father, Thomas Markle, to meet his grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Recently, Thomas revealed plans to move to the other side of the world for a "fresh start” after his daughter did not introduce her kids to him.

"I am ready for a change. I have felt stuck in a rut for some time and I am ready to meet new people and experience kindness,” Thomas told Daily Mail.

Royal expert Hugo Vickers shared his two cents on the matter while expressing pity for Thomas, saying it would have "meant a lot to him" to meet his grandchildren and "would have cost them nothing."

Speaking with The Sun, “It would have meant a lot to him, and would have cost them nothing. It wouldn’t do them any harm to have introduced him to his grandchildren.”

"It’s very much up to her really, if she wanted to see him, she could easily see him,” he added. "He’s left the door open, the King has also left the door open but she’s the one who’s prevented it."

The expert further added that he “cannot possibly imagine” what Thomas could have done to merit never meeting his grandchildren.

He noted that meeting Archie and Lilibet “obviously mean a lot” to Thomas, adding that Meghan would get public’s “respect” for letting him meet them.
