Drew Barrymore makes hilarious comments about classic game show

Drew Barrymore recently shared her two cents on the new reboot of Hollywood Squares.

In a new chat with Us Weekly, the show host spilled the beans on the newest season of the series.

She began, “I want to get out and run around! I want to yell at people!”

Drew even joked, “I’ll pull out a hair extension.”

Sharing that Hollywood Squares is one of her most “favorite” game shows, Drew Barrymore added, “People like to feel like they’re a part of a party.”

“I didn’t understand that until E.T. came out [in 1982] and I saw people congregating and having a collective experience,” she continued.

For those unversed, two contestants play tic-tac-toe against a stack of open-faced cubes, each occupied by a celebrity, in this game show. 

Then, the contestants guess if the celebrities' answers these questions correctly. 

The goal is to get three celebrity squares in a row, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, or to have five square. 

“People lie to be together and they want to laugh and be happy, and then when it comes to the game, they want to win and have stakes,” she remarked in conclusion of the topic.
