Robert De Niro admits 'family can be complex'

Robert De Niro recently became a father for the seventh time, but he believes that "family can be complex."

During an interview with The Sunday Times Magazine, the Academy-winning actor said, "Oh God, they would all have a different answer. Family is so complex," adding, "I try my best, that’s all. I hope they’ll be happy."

Sharing his daily routine, the Godfather actor said his day starts with his daughter, Gia. "I'm an early riser. I’ve got a 19-month-old baby. I spend my mornings watching [the YouTuber for toddlers] Ms Rachel with her, and I give her her bottle."

The legendary star, meanwhile, is apparently a family man. He previously told People that he enjoyed going on vacations with his brood.

“The fact that they’d all be together is everything to me," noting, “Just being together, taking trips to warm places."

In other news, Michael Mann, who made Heat starring Robert, said the sequel to the classic hit is almost finished.

“We have to have it finished very soon," the filmmaker shared an update about the movie at the Red Sea Film Festival.
