Adam Brody and Leighton Meester get plenty of chances to share the screen together.

Brody and Meester, who have been married since 2014, were on the red carpet of the 2025 Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday when a chat with E! turned to their collaborations together.

"We talk about it," said Meester, 38, when asked if the couple have considered acting together again after their runs on The O.C. and Gossip Girl and in movies like 2011's The Oranges.

Brody, who was there with Meester upon receiving his first-ever nomination at an awards ceremony—earned by his role in Netflix's rom-com series Nobody Wants This—shared that it's very natural for the married couple to want to work together.

"We don't have a dream project, we always like to work together when it comes up," Brody said, with Meester noting, "It comes up a lot."

"It's true, almost everything we do they're like, 'Would your husband or wife want to be in this as well?'" Brody confessed.

"We have to resist more than we seek it out," Meester added.

Brody and Meester most recently worked together in the 2023 film River Wild. The couple first met through a mutual friend at a deli in Los Angeles. They reconnected in 2011 to film The Oranges but did not date until February 2013.

The couple got engaged in November 2013 and married in February of the following year. They share two children, Arlo Day Brody, 9, and a son whom they welcomed in 2020. Meester and Brody have not revealed their younger son's name to the public.
