Meghan Markle's obsession with social media exposed after comeback post

Meghan Markle has been accused of being obsessed with social media as a Royal expert claims she monitors comments on Instagram continuously.

According to royal expert Phil Dampier, Meghan turned off comments to her Instagram post to avoid interaction, in an attempt to "control the narrative" online.

Branding the Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry "thin-skinned," the expert said the couple is "media-obsessed” despite past criticism of social media.

Speaking with The Sun, Dampier said, "Harry and Meghan are control freaks, there's no doubt about it. And in putting this up on Instagram I think Meghan's teasing us quite considerably.”

"She's already apparently turned off the comments so that people can't interact with her. But of course, the actual video that she's posted online doesn't really tell us anything,” he added.

"This tends to indicate that the Sussexes are rather thin skinned,” he commented on Meghan disabling social media comments. "They have complained in the past about the abuse that they get online, Meghan in particular.”

"She has said that she's one of the most abused people in the world, so she wouldn't necessarily want to see these comments.

"I think she really wants to get back on social media despite her protestations that she gets abused online,” he said, adding that Harry and Meghan’s past behaviour has shown them to be "very media obsessed.”

"I think that's been one of their biggest problems, because if they weren't so obsessed, if they learned to just ignore some of the stuff and let it wash over them, they could possibly find some much more useful things to do in life.

"But unfortunately, that's where we are - and this is all part of that."
