Chappell Roan is seemingly planning to give New Years’ special present to fans.
The 26-year-old singer is reportedly in talks to perform at British Record Industry Trusts Show, according to The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column.
The news comes after an insider dished out to the publication that the Pink Pony Club hitmaker, who has been “such a key figure in music in 2024", being secured for a "performance" in 2025 BRITs Awards.
"So far, it is looking good", the source spilled out, adding, “She (Roan) is known for putting on incredible performances so having a major American star like her on the stage would be a real coup."
According to the source, the hope is that contracts can be signed in the next few weeks.
The annual British music awards ceremony will return to London's The O2 arena on March 1, 2025.
Interestingly, the Good Luck, Babe! singer had previously expressed her admiration for BRITs and admitted that she would love to attend it as a guest with her mother.
Chappell - whose real name is Kayleigh Rose Amstutz, told The Face, “My mum would love to go to the Grammys or the BRITs.”
“I’m kind of hoping I don’t win, because then everyone will get off my a**, ‘See guys, we did it and we didn’t win, bye!’ I won’t have to do this again!”, said the singer.
