King Charles III may just be off to a rather weak start to 2025, despite only being less than a week into New Years.
As per the Christmas Day TV ratings by Wallace and Gromit, the British monarch has been beaten as the nation tuned out of his speech, according to new reports that have come to light.
The blow 75-yeaar-old King Charles has faced comes amid several other ongoing family dramas that he is facing alongside managing his health after being diagnosed with prostate cancer in February 2024.
In 2020 came the major blow of his younger son, Prince Harry and daughter-in-law, Meghan Markle announced their exit from royal duties, leaving life in the UK behind with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Keeping an eye on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex is not the only thing King Charles would now be occupied with as the infamous royal scandal of Prince Andrew made headlines.
As Andrew was accused of being a Chinese spy, Jennie Bond, a former royal correspondent, called him a "pariah" within the royal family.
In a conversation with OK! Magazine, she stated, "The King is a kind soul and Andrew is his brother. He would have hated to be put in the position of having to un-invite him or ban him from what promises to be a big family get-together.”
"It seems quite likely Andrew sat down with Fergie, and possibly his daughters, to discuss the best solution,” Bond added.
"Thankfully, wise heads have prevailed and he obviously realized his presence at Sandringham would be an embarrassing distraction on a day which - this year of all years - should be all about the King and Catherine," she mentioned in conclusion, which resulted in Prince Andrew skipping the 2024 official Christmas tradition of the royals at Sandringham.
