Ayo Edebiri pays heartfelt tribute to Julia Roberts at the 2025 Golden Globes

Comedian and actress Ayo Edebiri turned heads at the 2025 Golden Globes with a stunning tribute to Julia Roberts’ iconic 1990s red carpet style.

The 29-year-old star of The Bear walked the red carpet in a loose grey suit and shared that her outfit was inspired by Roberts' famous look at the Golden Globes in 1990.

For the star-studded night, Edebiri donned a custom Loewe outfit with a big grey jacket, loose grey pants, a grey shirt, and black loafers.

To complement her minimal look, she added a gold feather tie for some shine and let her auburn waves stay on her back with a middle partition similar to the Notting Hill star.

In addition, the Thunderbolts actress added small hoop earrings, silver grills, and a red heart-in-hand badge on her jacket.

While having a conversation with Today magazine, Edebiri quipped, "We dyed my hair this morning. It was kind of insane dyeing my hair in a hotel room, but I think worth it!"

Notably, her stylist, Danielle Goldberg, shared a photo on Instagram Stories showing Ayo Edebiri at the Golden Globes next to Julia Roberts in a similar oversized Armani suit with a white shirt and printed tie from the 1990 Golden Globes.
