Sir Elton John might just be set for music success in 2025 despite his severe ongoing eye infection.
The legendry musician would be claiming his ninth UK Number 1 album with his work, Diamonds, as per the Official Charts.
His greatest hits compilation is a long-term staple on the chart, having a total of 325 weeks, switching its place amongst the UK Top 40 ranks, with the outlet revealing it is now the 11th biggest album of the last 10 years in the UK.
Released back in 2017, Diamonds is calculated to reach the top spot by the grace of the release of a super deluxe edition Blu-ray and a limited Bad World diamond-effect LP, with its current position at the second spot on the chart.
If Diamonds manages to reach the top, it would be joining the other UK Number 1 eight albums of John, that include, Don’t Shoot Me, I’m Only The Piano Player (1973), Goodbye Yellow Brick Road (1973), Caribou (1974), Elton John’s Greatest Hits (1974), Sleeping With The Past (1989), The Very Best of Elton John (1990), Good Morning To The Night with Pnau (2012) and The Lockdown Sessions (2021).
