'How I Met Your Mother' Josh Radnor celebrates first wedding anniversary

Josh Radnor has shared insights into his surreal wedding with his wife Jordana Jacobs.

Taking it to his Instagram to celebrate one year of his marriage, he posted a carousel of pictures of him and his wife exchanging vows in the snowy weather.

“One year ago today I got married,” the How I Met Your Mother actor penned a note.

Recalling his plan for the wedding event, continued, “Our plan was a short ceremony outside with hot chocolate and hot toddies for the guests then retire inside to the warmth for dinner and dancing.”

However, their special day did not go as they planned and while explaining that he wrote, “The forecast said we could expect some light flurries at around 5pm. We thought that would be delightful. Around 2:30 the snow started coming and would not stop.”

“Our photographer and videographer from @forgedinthenorth were delighted but we were nervous. Too late to pivot inside we went ahead with our blizzard wedding. It was surreal and unforgettable.”

Moreover, Radnor thanked the guests for attending his wedding in the blizzard weather.

“I honestly didn’t know if marriage was for me but it turned out it was,” the 50-year-old actor added.

Before concluding, he shared, “Asking Jordana to marry me was the best decision I ever made. I love doing life alongside this kind, wise, hilarious, lovely woman.”

For those unversed, the couple tied the knot on January 6, 2024 at the Cedar Lakes Estate in Port Jervis, New York. The lovebirds first met in February 2022, at a sound meditation retreat.
