Harrison Ford, a veteran actor, was seen interacting with the Los Angeles Police Department on 8 January.

It appears the Blade Runner star had asked the authorities to check on his Brentwood property as wildfires continue to cause damage in California.

He was spotted as he spoke to several officers and was later escorted to his property while appearing tense.

However, Ford seemed at ease soon after as he held an iced tea and flashed a smile while speaking to more officers. He did not don any protective gear and was dressed casually in a jacket and t-shirt.

One part of Brentwood had to face evacuation because of the Palisades Fire, caused by a brush fire on 8 January.

Authorities have yet to get the situation under control, with more than a 1000 houses getting burned because of it.

A state of emergency was officially declared by California Gov. Gavin Newsom as approximately 70, 000 Los Angeles residents received the orders to evacuate.

Several celebrities have been impacted by the fires including Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt.

Nobody Wants This star Adam Brody and his wife, actress Leighton Meester also faced major damage as their property, priced at $6.5 million, was caught by the fire. 

The status of Harrison Ford’s property has not yet been confirmed.
