Former broadcaster, writer, and media personality Wendy Williams’ brother Tommy Williams recently spoke out about his mission to restore his sister's health and free her from her guardianship.

While having a conversation with The Sun as he launches a line of "Free Wendy" merchandise in support of her move to Florida, Tommy shared that he enjoyed his time with his sister when she made a visit in Florida last month.

For the unversed, the Dancing with the Stars alum made a visit to Florida to be a part of her son, Kevin Hunter Jr.’s graduation ceremony from college.

Shedding light on his time with his sister, Wendy’s younger brother quipped, "I'm very happy with the time that I spent with Wendy. I'm looking forward to future times, and ultimately, looking forward to her moving down here soon.’

He added, "That's something that's been in my heart and her heart, and we know that everything's going to work itself through.”

"And I have no doubt in my mind that it's going to happen, and it's going to happen in a good time and not a long, long time,” Tommy noted.

Moving forward, when the interviewer asked if Wendy's guardianship would move from New York to Florida, to which the Nightcap stars brother stated, "I guess we have to find out when that moment arrives."

"We remain faithful that everything's going to be alright. Wendy's a great person and...I know that great things are going to still occur for her in the great deal of life she has ahead of her,” Tommy highlighted.

It is pertinent to mention that Wendy Williams is considered "permanently incapacitated" because she has been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD), primary progressive aphasia with alcohol-related brain damage.

Notably, it has been three years of her guardianship as it started in 2022.
