Prince Harry, Meghan Markle face 'upsetting' rumors about key source of income

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly “upset” after hearing rumors that their Netflix deal may be in danger.

This comes after Duke of Sussex’s new show Polo got critically panned and slammed by audiences as well. Now, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex has shared the trailer of her lifestyle show With Love, Meghan.

An insider says their $100 million deal could be in danger, but the duo are “still hopeful that the show will gather momentum and prove the critics wrong.”

“They tried so hard to give the network what they wanted, and that was more of a reality show feel than they initially envisioned, but they got on board and came up with a show that they feel hits that target but also has a lot of heart and depth,” the tipster noted, adding that “it doesn’t really matter what they think, it’s what Netflix bosses think.”

“So, to hear these horrible rumors coming out that their deal might be at risk because the network isn’t happy is incredibly upsetting,” they added.

Another streaming insider recently claimed that “Even among the professionals in the T.V. business, they see their mostly pointless Netflix shows as taking opportunities away from creators and talent who are T.V. professionals with legitimately strong ideas.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle signed the deal with Netflix in 2020 after their exit from the Royal Family as working royals and their subsequent move to the United States.
